Vidita Singh
Vidita is a Class XI, Humanities student of Somerville School, Vasundhara Enclave, Delhi.
Applied Art is one of her optional subjects. She is also fond of music and dance and in her leisure time practices Indian music and Kathak dance. Her parents grasped her autism related challenges when she was in Class II-III. Like so many autistic teens, Vidita struggles with difficulties in concentration, logical thinking and her urge for repetitive talking. She requires assistance in some Activities of Daily Living (ADL) tasks like doing her hair, tying shoe laces and matching routine with watch time. She gets bothered with sharp sounds like crackers and bursting of balloons. Through the years, Vidita has attended several therapies and is also benefitted by the inclusive nature of her school.
